The Free Samples

Tulsa's elite jazz band, The Free Samples, will perform a special collection of fusion classics by Herbie Hancock, Steps Ahead, and Weather Report, as well as originals from members of the band. The Free Samples includes Tommy Poole (saxophones), Kenny Reichert (guitar), Nick Mancini (vibraphone), Aaron Spiers (bass), and Ricky Gonzalez (drums). Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. The 6:30 p.m. show is All Ages! ABOUT FREE SAMPLES: The Free Samples is Oklahoma's premier electronic-instrumental jazz ensemble. Formed in 2017, the group regularly performs at music festivals across the region. Newest members of The Free Samples include Kenny Reichert on guitar and Aaron Spiers on bass. Kenny is regular in the Chicago jazz scene. He just released his fourth album as leader, "Live in Chicago" on Shifting Paradigm Records. Kenny is also the newest addition to the Oklahoma State University Jazz faculty.
