Chris Combs Trio is presenting a night of new, original material alongside their good friend Jesse Aycock on pedal steel, guitar, and vocals on Thursday, March 14. The show will feature: Chris Combs - guitars Jesse Aycock - guitar, pedal steel, vocals Aaron Boehler - bass Josh Raymer - drums Doors open at 6 p.m. | Show runs 7-10pm. Ages 21+ (Please provide valid I.D.) Chris Combs is a guitarist, composer, and producer from Tulsa, OK whose work with Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, COMBSY, and many more has achieved international acclaim for blending jazz, hip-hop, and experimental elements with a love for improvisation. His career has put him on stage and in the studio with legends, including George Porter Jr., Jeff Coffin, Mike Dillon, Matt Chamberlain, and numerous MCs and singer-songwriters. Combs has performed and presented his work at some of the world's most prestigious venues and festivals, including North Sea Jazz, Montreal Jazz Festival, Jazzwerkstatt Bern, SXSW, Blue Note Jazz Festival, and many more. His new EP features beautiful compositions and searing improvisations.
