Enjoy an evening of traditional 30s and 40s French Gypsy jazz with some original music from the genre by Gitans Solitaires on Thursday, October 17. The group includes Nathan Wilson (guitar), Mason Chow (violin), Pete Chesser (guitar), and Ben Cassody (bass). Doors open at 6 p.m. | Show starts at 7 p.m. Ages 21+ (Please provide a valid I.D. at the door) ABOUT GITANS SOLITAIRES Nathan Wilson, Ph.D. is a professor at Oklahoma State University and has played guitar for over 30 years. Mason Chow is a violinist from Tulsa who is involved in jazz studies at the University of Tulsa. Pete Chesser is a guitarist from Tulsa who is involved in jazz studies at the University of Tulsa. Ben Cassody is a local Tulsa bass player who plays jazz, funk, psychedelic rock, and Bossa nova. A graduate of the University of Tulsa, he works in IT System Administration.
